Project Manager:

Blue Rock is seeking a qualified Project Manager with minimum of 8 years related experience. We are a full service Contracting and Construction Management firm in commercial construction from conceptual phase through planning, design and construction phases. Our services, custom-tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, include complete Construction Management, General Contracting, Project Management and Consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a full time staff of Project Engineers and Superintendents.
• Familiarity with Pennsylvania/New Jersey Trade Contractors.
• Write scopes of work and oversee subcontractor/vendor purchasing.
• Manage the design coordination process and maintain involvement in architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical plans and specifications.
• Manage the construction process and assure adherence to the Project Schedule and Quality Assurance plan.
• Assist client in budget development.
• Assist in development of payment requisitions and review of payment requests.
• Change order review and approval.
• Management of projects to ensure client expectations are met.
• Ensure that project staff is expediting critical deliveries.
• Interface with the township and other governmental entities relating to permitting issues.
• Prepare the monthly reports.
• Knowledge of project control software is a plus.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of construction management experience (including marketing or building management) with the basis understanding of all facets of building construction.
• Must be detail oriented, analytical and computer literate (in construction management software) with proven leadership skills.
• Demonstrates ability to maintain successful client relations.
• Strong interpersonal and organization skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Must exhibit excellent judgment.
• A team player with strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of project control software.
• A results-oriented individual with a bias toward action and a sense of urgency.
