Blue Rock Construction is pleased to announce the completion of renovation of 41 Starbucks stores on an aggressive schedule and within the established budget. Blue Rock's quality standards and flexibility became the benchmark for future Starbucks projects.

This project challenged Blue Rock to simultaneously renovate interior retail space in 41 stores within a compressed schedule timeframe, for a client expanding their business offering to include hot food. For each store, all of the work was scheduled to take place over two nights, without interruption to the customer's shopping experience. Major improvements included demolition and replacement of cabinets, countertops, wall covering and running new electric circuitry. The program demanded enormous attention to detail. In an added effort to meet Starbucks and Jones Lang LaSalle standards, Blue Rock provided dedicated supervision, warehouse and detailed coordination for work in the beverage preparation area. The client required a zero-tolerance approach to any interruption of store operations.

We succeeded by establishing a trusting working relationship with each store manager and associate, collaborating on work activities, and establishing detailed schedule and supervision requirements to minimize consumer inconvenience.
