“I recently had the honor of project managing the refurbishment of Aramark’s store location in the National Constitution Center, Philadelphia, PA.  The project scope was all inclusive from design & construction documentation through to implementation- a complete re-do of the space.

“We understood from inception that this was a high-profile project and that Fleetwood would need to partner wisely to succeed.  We chose Blue Rock as our construction partner based on exceptional experiences we had working together on previous projects and our familiarity with the exceptional quality of their work.

Urban Fulfillment Center

Construction is underway for a new 850,000-square-foot fulfillment center in Indiana, PA for international retailer Urban Outfitters, Inc.

The fulfillment center on 48.5 acres of the Windy Ridge Business and Technology Park will be dedicated to the furniture lines handled by the company’s Anthropologie chain of stores.

The facility will feature a woodworking shop and over 60,000 square feet of office space.

About 600 workers will be needed during construction, in addition to “hundreds of family-sustaining” jobs that will be available once the center is opened, said township officials. They also noted it will be the most jobs created by a single employer in Indiana County in more than five decades.

This marks Blue Rock’s second fulfillment center for Urban, with the first being the one million-square-foot Internet Fulfillment Center in Gap, Pa.

Completion date is set for early October 2019.
