Blue Rock partnered with VSG Studios for a 1,600-square-foot renovation project at the historic United States Mint in Philadelphia.
The U.S. Mint stands as a mammoth-sized, 1969-vintage building at 151 North Independence Mall East, right in the heart of the city’s Historic District. It’s just two blocks from its original site, which opened in 1792 at 7th and Arch Streets.
Work in the building’s retail space included:
- Demolition of existing fixtures and millwork, including (2) cash wraps
- Demolition of the existing coin wall and rebuilding wall for display cases
- Installed new fixtures, and resurfaced existing display walls
- Installed (1) new cash wrap
- Installed (3) new duplex outlets at the cash wrap.
- Installed (3) new data points at the cash wrap
- Furnished and installed new carpet behind the cash wrap
The project was completed in four weeks.
