Blue Rock proudly delivered Urban Outfitters’ largest distribution facility in the North America, seamlessly incorporating an advanced data center within the project.
Over a span of 24 months, Blue Rock constructed an impressive 1.5 million-square-foot distribution/data center in Kansas City, Kan. This state-of-the-art facility features a tilt-up construction and stands 70+ feet tall, with 20″ thick insulated wall panels.

- Integrated Data Center Solutions: At the heart of the facility, Blue Rock’s expert construction management team embedded a cutting-edge Data Center. This Data Center is crucial for managing extensive logistics operations and ensuring real-time data processing and system efficiency.
- Expansive and Strategic Design: Built on an 85-acre tract previously owned by the Kansas Speedway/NASCAR, the facility includes 60,000 square feet of office space and is designed to accommodate large-scale operations with enhanced data management capabilities.

- 45 miles of sprinkler pipe, roughly the length of Rhode Island north to south
- 600,000 pounds of copper wire, which is 300 tons or the weight of a loaded Boeing 747

There was a total of 3,898,103 pounds of reinforcing steel used in the foundations, vertical panels, slabs, and deck.
