Blue Rock Construction would like to thank everyone for their generous support of our seventh annual Blue Rock Golf Outing to Benefit Dr. Tom Catena and his lifesaving mission in the Nuba Mountains in Sudan.
Thanks to the outpouring of generosity, Blue Rock raised $148,790. The Blue Rock Charitable Foundation is happy to match it dollar for dollar and round it up to $300,000, with ALL PROCEEDS GOING DIRECTLY to Dr. Tom to support his life’s work of providing medical care to the forgotten people of the Nuba Mountains.
The golf outing has now raised over $1.1 million over the last seven years.
This year’s event featured Matt Smith, vice president of strategic partnerships and development for the Sudan Relief Fund, as a special guest speaker. Matt delivered an update on Dr. Tom’s mission and also provided unique gifts created by the Nuba people.
Blue Rock is very grateful to everyone who sponsored, participated, and contributed to the outing’s success.
